Things we will need from our clients!
Current government issued I.D such as driver license, military ID, state issued photo ID., passport with a photograph, signature and physical description of the signer. Expired I.D cards will not be accepted. All documents must be ready before notarization. Any blank or incomplete document will not be notarized.
The name that is being signed on the document must match the legal name of the individual signing on his/her I.D. card. Names on documents that do not legally correspond with an individual's I.D. card will not be notarized.
You must know which type of notarization is to be performed. (An Acknowledgment or Jurat). By asking, the issuer of the document must know this information. A notary public cannot accompany any decision for their clients.
Verification of Signature:
The notary acts as a witness to the signing of forms by ensuring that the signer is the person named in the paperwork and the individual isn't being made to sign anything against their will as much as possible.
The signer should be prepared to prove who they are by showing an active (non-expired) government issued picture I.D. such as a driver's license, passport or military I.D.
